# Purpose

`Pgbouncer` is a loadbalancer for postgresql connections and very helpful in managing aspects of postgresql performance.

`confdroid_pgbouncer`is a standalone container suitable for running on docker, kubernetes etc to facilitate loadbalancer deployments.
